Nicola Herrington

Special interests: Children’s dentistry and Facial aesthetics

Nicola qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1993. She immediately moved back home to East Anglia where she worked in Diss and Dereham before settling in Sudbury, Suffolk. She became involved with supporting dentists in East Anglia with Health Education England.

Nicola became a partner in Sudbury and with her husband Tom she continued to develop the practice to provide a broad spectrum of care to the local population. Nicola was a clinical educator of student hygienists as well as supporting newly qualified dentists.

In the spring of 2018 she sold the Sudbury practice and later that year she bought St Marys Dental Practice with Tom and they started an extensive refurbishment of the practice.

Nicola divides her time between being a busy dentist, practice owner and a mum to 3 children aged 14, 13 and 11.

Outside dentistry Nicola is an accomplished musician (violin and piano)and enjoys floristry.

 

Tom Norfolk

Special interests: Orthodontics and Dental Implants.

Tom qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1992. He worked in general dental practice in the Midlands for a few years as well as an orthodontic clinical assistant post in hospital. In 1994 he moved to East Anglia.

In 2003 he joined his wife and continued to build their mixed NHS and private practice in Sudbury, Suffolk. They sold that in 2018 and moved to Ely.

Tom has divided his clinical time between orthodontics (fixed and removable braces), general dental practice and dental implants: a mixture he enjoys.

He and Nicola bought St Mary’s in December 2018 and they have set about refurbishing it to a high standard to provide a wide variety of dental care for patients.

Tom has been a clinical supervisor of newly qualified dentists for over 10 years as well as training student hygienists. He is an active member of the local dental community as well as working with various organisations involved in dentistry.

Outside dentistry, Tom is married with 3 children. Most of his free time tends to be spent taking the children to Netball, Cricket, Hockey and Water Polo. He enjoys DIY around the house and garden and he’s always got a few projects on the go.

 

Marek W Klosinski

Marek has over 20 years in the dental profession.

His particular interests are root canal treatments, artificial teeth and implants.

Marek enjoys keeping up to date with his postgraduate studies both in the UK and abroad.

 

Chloe L Richardson

General Dental Practitioner

Chloe qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2015 with BDS (Hons) and an additional award in paediatric dentistry. Since then she has worked in general dental practice in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, and moved to Cambridgeshire in early 2019.

She is keen to encourage families to attend regular check-ups and is passionate about removing the ‘fear factor’ from a visit to the dentist.

Chloe enjoys attending dental conferences and talks, as well as following online blogs to keep up to date with new approaches and techniques for general dentistry, and last year passed the MJDF exams for membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England.

In her free time she enjoys reading, Zumba, swimming and relaxing with family and friends.

 

John Wren

General Dental Practitioner

John qualified from the Royal London Hospital, Medical & Dental School in December 1992.

He moved to East Anglia, to do his vocational training and stayed in that practice for several years, working for the NHS, and latterly privately. During this period he became involved in Dental Politics, at mainly a local level but also at National level. 
 
In 2001, he began working part-time for the Salaried Dental Service in King’s Lynn at the Dental Access Centre. He then went full time, as hours worked extremely well with his young family. 
 
Over the years John became much more involved with the Community Dental Service treating children and adults with Special Needs, patients in their homes, and working in the hospital treating patients under General Anaesthetic. 
 
Recently John has returned to General Practice, but still does the odd session at the Hospital under General Anaesthetic. 
 
He brings to the practice experience in several fields of dentistry. 
 
John is married to Ann and they have two teenage children. John is a keen caravaner, and when possible likes spending time in Northern Spain. Last year he skied for the first time in 12 years, having reached his 50th birthday! 
 
As his family are growing up he has more time to do DIY, which he enjoys and has just completed refurbishing his downstairs cloakroom. 

 

Salman Sheikh

Special Interests – Restorative and Implant Dentistry

Salman qualified from King’s College London Dental Institute in 2018 completing his Bachelors of Dental Surgery whilst being awarded the prestigious Associateship of Kings College award.
 
Since then he has completed a Postgraduate Certification in Restorative dentistry with the London Dental Academy in 2019 and has completed his Implant training in 2020.
 
He has a keen interest in more challenging restorative cases and is looking to complete an MSc in Restorative Dentistry soon.
Outside of dentistry Salman has just moved up to Cambridge with his wife and enjoys travelling, sports and spending time with his family and friends.

 

Suhen Selva

Suhen initially qualified with a BSc (Hons) in 2013 from the University of Nottingham before following on and completing his BDS at King’s College London in 2019.


He has a special interest in: Minimal intervention dentistry, prosthodontics, Invisalign, whitening, composite bonding, implants and dental photography.

This year, he is also working 2 days at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and volunteering in the Covid response team and vaccinations programme and contributing to all aspects of healthcare in hospital.

He loves going to the gym, hiking, walking his dog, tutoring students and spending time with family and friends.

 

Pari Chhabra

Pari has recently graduated from the University of Sheffield and is a foundation dentist.

She is keen on helping patients feel less anxious about treatment and enjoys doing charity work to encourage children to be more aware of their oral health.

In her free time she enjoys being with her dogs, practicing martial arts and discovering new coffee shops.

 

Dinah Yusoff

Dinah has recently joined the team as one of our Foundation Dentists.

She graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute. There, she was an active member of KCL Smile Society where promoting good oral health in local schools and organisations. 

Dinah aims to provide quality holistic care to each of her patients and encourage good oral health habits. She is naturally friendly and enjoys making her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. 

In her free time, she enjoys taking long strolls, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
