Tom qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1992. Shortly after qualifying he moved to East Anglia where he has settled.

Tom enjoys the wide variety of general dental practice and he has been a clinical supervisor of newly qualified dentists for several years as well as training student hygienists. He is an active member of the local dental community as well as working with various organisations involved in dentistry.

Outside dentistry, Tom is married to Nicola and they have 3 teenage children to keep them busy. He enjoys DIY around the house and garden and he’s always got a few projects on the go.

 

Nicola Herrington

Special interests: Children’s dentistry

Nicola qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1993. She immediately moved back home to East Anglia where she worked in Diss and Dereham before settling in Sudbury, Suffolk. She became involved with supporting dentists in East Anglia with Health Education England.

Nicola became a partner in Sudbury and with her husband Tom she continued to develop the practice to provide a broad spectrum of care to the local population. Nicola was a clinical educator of student hygienists as well as supporting newly qualified dentists.

In the spring of 2018 she sold the Sudbury practice and later that year she bought St Marys Dental Practice with Tom and they started an extensive refurbishment of the practice.

Nicola divides her time between being a busy dentist, practice owner and a mum to 3 children.

Outside dentistry Nicola is an accomplished musician (violin and piano), enjoys floristry and loves to walk her beautiful Border Terrier.

 

Chloe L Richardson

General Dental Practitioner

Chloe qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2015 with BDS (Hons) and an additional award in paediatric dentistry. Since then she has worked in general dental practice in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, and moved to Cambridgeshire in early 2019.

She is keen to encourage families to attend regular check-ups and is passionate about removing the ‘fear factor’ from a visit to the dentist.

Chloe enjoys attending dental conferences and talks, as well as following online blogs to keep up to date with new approaches and techniques for general dentistry, and last year passed the MJDF exams for membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England.

In her free time she enjoys reading, Zumba, swimming and relaxing with family and friends.

 

Suhen Selva

Suhen initially qualified with a BSc (Hons) in 2013 from the University of Nottingham before following on and completing his BDS at King’s College London in 2019.


He has a special interest in: Minimal intervention dentistry, prosthodontics, dental photography, implants and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign, whitening and composite bonding.

This year, he is also working 2 days at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and volunteering in the Covid response team and vaccinations programme and contributing to all aspects of healthcare in hospital.

He loves going to the gym, hiking, walking his dog, tutoring students and spending time with family and friends.

 

Marek W Klosinski

Marek has over 20 years in the dental profession.

His particular interests are root canal treatments, artificial teeth and implants.

Marek enjoys keeping up to date with his postgraduate studies both in the UK and abroad.

 

 

Bethan Williams

Bethan grew up in Bridgend, South Wales and graduated from the University of Leeds in June 2017, achieving merit in a combined Masters and Bachelors of Dental Surgery together with a BSc in Oral Science.

Before joining us at St Mary’s Dental Practice, Bethan completed her foundation training at a large Swansea dental practice and remained at the practice as a full time Associate Dentist for four years.

Bethan enjoys restorative dentistry and improving patients confidence. She is dedicated to providing high standards of care and attention for her patients and values the relationships that she builds with them.

Growing up in South Wales, Bethan enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places. Being new to Ely, Bethan is looking forward to getting to know the area.

 

Harry Love

General Dental Practitioner

Harry grew up in Ely and trained at the University of Leeds, gaining a distinction in a combined Masters and Bachelors in Dental Surgery as well as a Bachelors in Oral Science.

He later moved back to Cambridge to work in the surrounding area.
 
Harry has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery, as well as helping children to maintain a high level of oral health and enjoy their visits to the dentist.
 
Outside of work he likes spending time outdoors, listening to music and attempting new recipes, with mixed results.

I qualified from King’s College London and recently moved to Cambridge for my Foundation Training.

Outside dentistry, I tutor students in my spare time and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy cooking and baking and am always trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

 

Connie Yan

Connie qualified from the University of Sheffield (BDS) where she completed her elective project on the use of silver diamine fluoride for caries prevention in children and was awarded the Rising Star Prize from the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2021.

She has now moved to Cambridgeshire to work as a foundation dentist.

Outside of dentistry, she plays piano, badminton and looks after her 2 year old Maltipoo “Panda”.

Karen Fallon

I qualified from Cardiff Dental Hospital. I have completed many extended duties over the years including teeth whitening and other cosmetic treatments. 

Outside work I enjoy travelling to warmer climates, socialising and restoring cars.

 

Rebecca Shahmoradian

After 7 years as a Dental Nurse I went on to train as a dental hygienist and therapist. I graduated from King’s College Hospital in 2020. I love the varied role of my job and motivating patients to become more engaged in their oral health. I believe prevention is the primary focus for a healthy mouth. I enjoy the variety of patients l get to see in a day and particularly enjoy the challenge of treating periodontal disease.

I have a calm, gentle and thorough approach which has been popular with my patients so far in my career.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending time in nature.

 

Rhiana Azzarone

Rhiana qualified as a Dental hygienist with Distinction from the University of Essex in 2022, she believes patient education is the most important aspect of oral health and aims to provide comprehensive guidance to each patient, enabling them to achieve optimal oral hygiene.

Rhiana strives to make each patients experience positive and enjoyable. Her empathetic and holistic approach makes each patient feel comfortable and she puts a special effort into putting even the most nervous patients at ease.

Rhiana attends regular professional development courses to understand the most recent advances in dental hygiene, allowing her to incorporate this evidence-based research into her daily practice.

In her spare time she spends time outdoors with her family enjoying long dog walks in nature and yoga which promotes day to day mindfulness.

 

Katie Roberts

I trained as a Dental Hygienist after working as a dental nurse for 8 years and qualified with a distinction from the University of Essex. I worked with Tom & Nicola as a dental nurse and now I have rejoined their team as a dental hygienist! I enjoy creating a positive rapport with patients as well as providing a calm environment. Supporting patients with regards to prevention and improving their oral health is very important to me. I like to spend my spare time with my partner, keeping up to date with dental research and I enjoy travelling.
